Six persons were killed when a jeep heading for Haleshi from Kathmandu plunged into Sunkoshi River on Sunday.Inspector Nirmal Paneru at District Police Office, Sinduli told Republica Online that four men and two women died when a jeep, Ba 12 Pa 8897, skidded off the road and fell into the river at Ratnawati-3, Solukhola along the Mid-Hill Highway.He said that the details of the mishap are awaited, adding that two women injured in the accident have been taken to Kathmandu for treatment.Paneru further said that the number of passengers travelling in the jeep was unclear and one passenger is believed to have gone missing in the river.
