He works on a coconut farm in the Philippines for around $9 a day. By guiding him with a stick, his young daughter Jenny happily helps him walk to work every day.




For climbing up to 60 coconut trees on the farm, Mr. Pepe is paid exactly 300 pesos (AU$9) a day. She uploaded it on her Facebook page on June 10 and now it has over 2 million views. As Jenny’s father holds one end of a stick, she hold the other in the footage. She uses the stick as a guide, She walks barefoot through the farm in a DRESS. Jenny hands her father a drink of water as the pair stop for a break and he starts to work. The ABS-CBN Foundation visited Mr Pepe and Jenny in the Philippines after the video gained international attention and the foundation hopes to relocate the family to a safer environment.
